The centrifugal clutch actuator for a motor vehicle has an epicyclic train (7) actuated by centrifugal weights (29) which lock the clutch (18). Stops (52) fixed to a cage (20) restrain the positioning of at least one group of weights with a predetermined spacing, while other weights can pass beyond this value.
