The device has an articulation articulating a trunk door on a motor vehicle structure. The articulation has a movable assembly (2) with a locking attachment (4) integrated with the door, so that the door pivots between closed and open positions. The attachment has a blocking portion(42) and is mounted mobile in rotation at a free end of a rectilinear portion (32) of a curved arm (3) of the assembly (2). Perforations (51, 52) of the attachment and the arm are traversed by a screw, when the attachment is pivoted around a temporary axis (M), so that the attachment is integrated on the arm. An independent claim is also included for an articulation for the fixation of a door of a trunk of a motor vehicle on a structure of the vehicle.
