The device has a cylinder head (3), a turbine of a turbocharger (5) and an exhaust gas treating assembly (4). The assembly is arranged between the cylinder head and the turbine whose inlet (13) is connected to an outlet of the assembly. The assembly has a gas post-treatment system and a particle filter (9). A high pressure turbine is interposed between outlet of the cylinder head and the inlet of the treating assembly.
