#CMT# #/CMT# The reinforcement (7) has a set of metallic profiles with predetermined shape and dimension, where the reinforcement is placed on an external part of an outer panel (2) of a door (P) and connected to a decorative element (6) e.g. sill molding. The reinforcement is associated to a flexible element that seals a lower part of the door when the door is in closed position, and has a length equal to the width of the door. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for reinforcing a door of a motor vehicle (claimed) in case of an impact, to prevent injuries to vehicle passengers. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The reinforcement simplifies the formation of the vehicle door by limiting the number of components in the space comprised between a casing and a door lining, frees the space comprised between the outer panel and the door lining, and can be assembled in the door in a simple manner.
