<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion sheet for a thin film transistor liquid crystal display with improved light transmittance and light diffusing property. <P>SOLUTION: The diffusion sheet is equipped with a transparent base sheet 2, a light diffusion layer 3 laminated on one surface of the base sheet 2, and a blocking preventing layer 4 laminated on the other surface of the base sheet 2, and is characterized by having the base sheet 2 satisfying refractive indexes in equation 1. Here, in the equation, SR expresses a three dimensional refractive constant of the base sheet 2, Nmax expresses a value of the larger one out of an MD (longitudinal direction) refractive index value and a TD (width direction) refractive index value, Nz expresses a refractive index in the sheet thickness direction, Ntd expresses a refractive index in the sheet width direction (Transverse Direction), and Nmd expresses a refractive index in the sheet length direction (Machinery Direction) respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
