<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance for fishing on a boat, which can immediately cope with shelf fishing and also on bottom fishing, when used for the fishing on the boat. <P>SOLUTION: This balance for fishing on the boat, is formed by disposing a line-attaching portion at one end of an arm portion, disposing a leader-attaching portion at the other end, and disposing a sinker-attaching portion between both the line-attaching portion and the sinker-attaching portion, wherein the sinker-attaching portion 4 comprises a reverse L-shaped suspended portion 6 rotatably and/or slidably positioned and suspended at a horizontal portion 6a close to the line-attaching portion on the basis of the axis of the arm portion 1, a sinker-guiding bar 7 vertically rotatably attached to the lower end ring 6c of a vertical portion 6b, and a connection means attached to the lower end of the sinker-guiding bar 7.
