PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to branch and connect a branch cable to a main cable simply and easily. SOLUTION: The crimp style terminal 10 is constructed of a contact part 20 capable of connecting to an opposite terminal of same shape and a base part 12 extending in the rear of the contact part 20. The contact part 20 comprises a base plate 21, a right engagement connection part 22 and a left engagement connection part 25 formed at the base plate 21 extending in nearly parallel to the front and rear interposing the base plate 21. By engaging the right engagement connection part 22 of the crimp style terminal 10 in the front and rear direction with the right engagement connection part 32 of the crimp style terminal 30 of same shape as the crimp terminal 10, the crimp terminal 10 and the crimp terminal 30 are connected. In this case, the right engagement connection part 22 is constructed of a side wall 23 and a holding part 24, and the left engagement connection part 25 is constructed of a side wall 26 and a holding part 27. Since the side wall 26 and the holding part 27 of the crimp terminal 10 are hooked to the right engagement connection part 32 of the crimp terminal 30, it is connected to the crimp terminal 30 with the right engagement connection part 32 holding by them.
