PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document comparison program, an electronic document comparison device and an electronic document comparison method by which a required document can easily be found even when many similar documents coexist. SOLUTION: Thumbnail images of each page of a key document are arranged in a line in order of pages and thumbnail images of each page of a document for comparison are arranged in parallel with the thumbnail images of the key document. Furthermore, a key page is compared with each page of the document for comparison, a column of the document for comparison is arranged by shifting it in the column direction so that the most similar page is adjacent to the key page. Thus, similar parts of each document are arranged at close positions and easily contrasted by arranging the key page and the page similar to the key page so as to be adjacent to each other.
