PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving the plasma display apparatus that can prevent a flicker by improving a method of driving a plasma display panel, while being driven fast by shortening an addressing time. SOLUTION: In the method of driving the plasma display apparatus, a frame is divided into a plurality of subfield groups including one or more subfields, and a portion of all scan electrodes is scanned during an address period of at least one subfield of the plurality of subfield groups.
