PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of locker, which can prevent the inconvenience, for example, of locking a door before luggage is left or of locking the door despite the absence of the intention of leaving the luggage. SOLUTION: The opened or closed state of the door of the locker is detected by a door opening/closing detecting means. The shift of the door of the locker from the opened state to the closed one makes it considered that the luggage is left in the locker. The door is locked by driving a solenoid of a locking unit through the operation of a locking lever after it is considered that the luggage is left in the locker. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
