PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet capable of allowing a temperature adjusting unit to be used in common with the other various faucets. SOLUTION: In this faucet having a water feeding flow passage 34, a hot water feeding flow passage 38, a mixing valve 40, a hot water flow passage 50, a hot water valve 52 for opening and closing the hot water flow passage 50, a water branching flow passage 56 branched from the water feeding flow passage 34 and extending and connected with a water discharge flow passage 54, and a water valve 58 for opening and closing the water branching flow passage 56 and selecting either of hot water and water and discharging it from a water discharge port 18, a check valve 60 for preventing flow in the reverse direction from the water branching flow passage 56 onto a side of a water feeding source 32 is provided on the water branching flow passage 56.
