PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plan prevention of development and improvement of troubles of mammary papilla after childbirth. SOLUTION: By massaging of mammary papilla and areola once daily for about 15 minutes with 99% or over of squalane oil during the maternal puerperal period and days 1-5 after childbirth, the occurrence and unfavorable troubles of mammary papilla such as rigidity, edema, redness/blister and crack are prevented. The therapeutic/ameliorating agent decreases pain during breast-feeding and reduces psychological burdens, improves breast milk secretion leading to safe breast-feeding, improves direct breast-feeding after childbirth and furthermore improves nutritional conditions accompanying immunity of infants.
