PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid condition detection sensor provided with a cylindrical electrode fixing structure fixed by welding at the end part of the base so as to project from the rear surface of the electrode fixing member wherein, the electrode fixing member is prevented from deforming caused by welding, and the sealing property at the fixing to a tank is improved. SOLUTION: A cylindrical part 34 is provided on a rear surface 32a of the electrode fixing member 30. On the external perimeter of the cylindrical part 34, apart from the rear surface 32a by an interval K to the tip, a surface 34b of smaller diameter is formed, and a surface 34c facing to the tip direction is provided at the boundary of the end part of the large diameter and the small diameter part 34b. On the external perimeter of the small diameter part 34b the end part 12 of the cylindrical electrode 10 is fitted, and its end surface 13 is abutted to the surface 34c facing to the tip, and in the fitting state abutting surface is welded around the abutting surface. Because the position of the welding line is separated from the rear face 32a of the electrode fixing member 30 by interval K, the heat during welding is harder to be conducted to the rear surface 32a than the conventional case where there is no separation, therefore the deformation can be reduced.
