PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug with a combustion pressure sensor which properly detects change of a combustion pressure by using a combustion pressure detection element composed of a semiconductor device. SOLUTION: The combustion pressure detection element 250 composed of the semiconductor device 350 is held between a collar part 215 of a flange 210 joined to a shaft 30, and a pressing member 280 joined to a circumferential wall 47 of a subject fitting 40. When the shaft 30 receives displacement due to a combustion pressure, it is pressed in a direction in parallel with an axis O direction. The combustion pressure detection element 250 always receives change of pressing force following change of the combustion pressure, and stable detection of the combustion pressure is carried out.
