PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which is easily assembled and has high productivity. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger comprises: a first fluid flow channel unit 10 having at least two turn-back flow channels 26 where flows of first fluid are opposite to each other, and constituted by continuously stacking the turn-back flow channels 26 through turn-back portions 27, 28; and a second fluid flow channel unit 9 constituted by stacking second fluid flow channels 22, 23 in which second fluid flows, in the direction same as the stacking direction (Z direction) of the turn-back flow channels 26 through connecting portions 14-19, and disposed between the turn-back flow channels 26. The second fluid flow channels 22, 23 have U-shaped flow channels for allowing the flow of the second fluid to turn back at one end 13 and make U-turn, on a face approximately orthogonal to the Z direction, and the connecting portions 14-19 are communicated with the U-shaped flow channels and disposed on the other end side of the second fluid flow channel unit 9.
