PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small container for an air cargo which can be carried easily with less trouble into a cargo bay of a bulk carrier airplane loaded with bulk air cargoes. SOLUTION: An undercarriage T bearing a box B fixed thereon is provided with caster position adjusting means R which movably adjust levels of casters 16 relative to a carriage frame 15. Each caster position adjusting means R movably adjusts the level of the caster 16 in such a way that when a cam rotation operating member 35 is operated externally to rotate a cam 30 on a cam shaft 25 in one direction, the projecting cam face 30b of the cam 30 depresses a cam pushing plate 40a against a compressive spring 45 which causes a rotating plate 40 to rotate to move the caster 16 from a stand-by level, at which the caster 16 is above the bottom of the undercarriage T, down to an action level, at which the caster 16 projects down below the bottom of the undercarriage T. When the cam 30 is rotated in the other direction, and on the other hand, the compressive spring 45 exerts its spring force to rotate the rotating plate 40 to move the caster 16 back to an original stand-by level.
