PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power measurement unit to obtain received signal power and a noise interference power in a CDMA communication. SOLUTION: A received signal is converted into a base band signal, an analog/digital converter 39 converts it into a digital signal, and a multiplier 42 applies inverse spread processing to the digital signal. An integrator 44 integrates the inverse spread signal for each symbol signal and a mean vector arithmetic unit 45 obtains a mean vector of the prescribed number of symbols. Applying square mean processing to the mean vector can obtain signal power and obtaining the variance of the mean vector can obtain noise power. Furthermore, the full power is calculated from an output of the digital/analog converter 39. Low pass filters 52-54 match the time constants of the signal power, the noise power, and the full power for comparison with the antenna reception power. Multiplying the ratio of the signal power to the full power by the antenna reception power obtains the signal power at the end of the antenna. |
