PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make cashless the changes of a parking lot and the charges of an automatic vending machine installed in the parking lot. SOLUTION: When becoming a member, a user registers the identification(ID) number of an authentication medium (an ID tag, for example), carried with him/her into an entering/leaving managing device 100 for the parking lot and a central managing device 14 and information required for settlement is registered in the latter as well. The automatic vending machine is provided with an input/output terminal 200 and when entering/leaving the parking lot, the ID number is transmitted from the authentication medium 300 to the managing device 100. Then, the managing device 100 manages parking for each ID number, calculates and stores the parking charges as well. When utilizing the automatic vending machine, the ID number is transmitted from the authentication medium 300 to the terminal 200 and the terminal 200 sends the received ID number to the managing device 100. When it is authenticated, vending from the vending machine is enabled and the charges of vending are sent from the terminal 200 to the managing device 100 together with the ID number. Then, the ID number and the respective charges are sent to the central managing device 14 and settled by a correspondent financial institution. |
