A three- or multi-pole changeover switch, has a housing with at least five terminal chambers (1-6) arranged adjacent to one another in a row, and at least five adjacently-arranged terminal chambers in a second row opposite the first row. In a first terminal chamber (1-12) is mounted a contact terminal-type of three different contact terminal types, that is either a switch contact terminal (19,22,27,30) of type A, or a switch contact terminal (20,23,26,29) of type B. Each changer over switch is formed by a contact terminal type A, B, C.
