Providing a solution to the problems associated with treatment of organic waste from dwellings etc.. The separation device comprises a separating portion (140) to separate solid impurities from waste water, a water storage tank (110) to store partly purified waste water, a collecting vessel (120) to collect separated solid impurities, and a conveyor. The separating portion has inlet (141a) to introduce waste water, water outlet (144) to remove water, and impurity outlet (143) to remove solid impurities. The conveyor (130) extends from separating portion to collecting vessel. The water outlet of separating portion is connected to the storage tank, and impurity outlet is connected to the collecting vessel. An Independent claim is also included for method of separating organic waste from waste water. |
