<p>treatment of sewage. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to loose dispersive material used in plants and processes of treatment of sewage, to technology of its production and to methods and plants to treat sewage with use of above-mentioned material. Granules of plastic material carry grains of inert mineral, for example, sand, deposited on them to prepare habitat for microorganisms effective for treatment of sewage. Granules have specified range of size of grains and grains are arranged on granules with preset density of population. Particles have average density of about 1.0 g/cu cm so that part of them can float and another part can sink in sewage. Particles are produced by contact of granules of plastic material with mixture of grains of inert mineral and grains of soluble substance, for instance, salt at raised temperature meant to coat these granules with mixture followed by dissolution of soluble substance from coat to obtain granules coated by grains of inert mineral with specified range of density of population.
