<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell operating at high temperature of 100°C or higher capable of preventing problems of an increase of pressure loss at a cathode separator and increase of pressure difference between an anode and a cathode in case of using a separator for the PEFC operating at high temperature having operation temperature of 100°C or higher, capable of improving energy efficiency of a fuel cell by reducing blower loss and improving life by reducing a stress burdened on an MEA. <P>SOLUTION: On the separator of the high temperature operation PEFC of 100°C or higher, cross section of a flow passage at outlet of the cathode separator is larger than that at inlet thereof.
