<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a history storage/reproducing device and its method for allowing a user to arbitrarily specify a recording range to be stored as history, and a base point for starting recording, and continuously and repeatedly executing previous operation until a display area end is reached on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: Since a history area RE is provided in a RAM 3, and an inputted command is stored in the history area RE since an ON state is set to store history, until an OFF state is set not to store history in response to clicking of an icon IC1, the range to be stored as operation history, and the base point of starting recording can be arbitrarily specified.
