PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pump device, not including a metal insert to simplify the manufacture of a seal member of a centrifugal blood pump. SOLUTION: This blood pump device includes: a first portion 28 having a chamber 30, and a suction port and a discharge port 13 for circulating a fluid to the chamber 30; and a second portion 32 having a stator mechanism 34 and a rotor mechanism 36 disposed adjacent to the stator mechanism and driven by the stator mechanism, wherein the second portion includes a journal 38 disposed in the periphery of the rotor mechanism 36 to form a support 40; an impeller 40 disposed in the chamber 30; and a seal member 42 of one piece to seal the periphery of a shaft of the impeller, wherein the seal member 42 is fixedly bonded to the journal 38, so that the seal member is supported by the journal 38 to obtain sealing firmness.
