PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice data processing method and a voice data processing device for performing pitch detection from history data during packet loss and generating compensation data for it, with which an operation quantity in packet loss mode is decreased and no unnecessary packet loss compensation processing is carried out for a silent signal. SOLUTION: In normal mode, input signal data are decoded and a normalization cross-correlation operation in rough search processing used for pitch detection is carried out by the specified number of loops of necessary loops on the basis of history decoded data (S101); and a normalization cross-correlation peak value obtained at this time and a delay data value corresponding thereto are held (S102). Then the normalization cross-correlation operation (S104) in the rough search processing is repeated by the remaining necessary loops in packet loss mode by using the normalization cross-correlation peak value and delay data value (S103) to perform detailed search processing (S200), thereby generating compensation data.
