PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a dynamic pressure gas-lubricated bearing wherein a foil type is mainly in use but inferior to an oil bearing in terms of cost due to severe machining accuracy if a shaft diameter is smaller than 30 mm and there are unsolved layout problems such as improvement of load capacity, a weight reduction of a shaft system and a reduction of a bearing outer diameter. SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure gas-lubricated bearing is formed by combining a ring foil with foil formed in ring shape, and a plate spring with a spring part formed by providing a plate spring of strip shape with slits in a rotating shaft direction. An appropriate wedge-like passage is thereby formed by the deformation of the ring to attain added capacity and cost reduction. Further, a cartridge is provided with grooves, and axial protrusions provided at the ring foil are put into the grooves. The rotation and axial movement of the ring foil are thereby regulated to improve stability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
