PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall plate temporarily setting device which is for use in constructing a wall by mounting a metallic wall plate in a steel skeleton construction field without providing scaffolding, facilitates temporary setting of the wall plate in a narrow space, and allows the operator to very efficiently mount the wall plate having been temporarily set in the construction field, on a steel skeleton building, and to provide an external wall construction method. SOLUTION: According to the wall plate temporarily setting device, a bearing section 1 for bearing the wall plate 10 is formed, and vertical frame members 2, 2 are set at both lateral ends of the bearing section 1 in a manner erecting upward. Then horizontal frame members 3, 3, etc. are arranged between both the vertical frame members 2, 2, and holding sections 7 are arranged on a front side of the vertical frame members 2, and horizontal frame members 3 while engaging sections are mounted on a rear side of the vertical frame members 2, 2, and the horizontal frame members 3, 3, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
