PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension type pile driver without making a lattice boom and a leader interfere in a falling-down state. SOLUTION: This suspension type pile driver 1 has the lattice boom 4 rocakbly journaled in the longitudinal direction of base machines 2 and 3 and the leader 6 journaled to its lattice boom 4 and vertically supported by a support member 7 from the base machine 3 in a state of uplifting the lattice boom 4; and lifts a work device 80 installed on the leader 6 by unwinding and rewinding of a wire rope 15 sent out of a winch 31 of the base machine 3. A a cross-sectional shape of the lower sides 6f to 6h of the rising leader 6 is formed smaller than a cross-sectional shape of the upper sides 6a to 6e. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
