PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the distortion of a speaker regarding a damper used for the speaker. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a speaker damper used for supporting the voice coil body 2 of a speaker, comprising a frame 5, a magnetic circuit 1 supported by the frame 5, the voice coil body 2 disposed movably to a magnetic gap 8 formed in the magnetic circuit 1, and a diaphragm 3 connected to the frame 5 at its outer peripheral end part and to the voice coil body 2 at its inner peripheral end part. The speaker damper further comprises a damper 10 connected to the voice coil body 2 at its inner peripheral end part and having a first elastic modulus and an edge 11 provided to the outer peripheral end part of the damper 10 and having a second elastic modulus different from the first elastic modulus.
