<p>A mass thickening apparatus comprising a system mass input for accepting a mass having a solid component and a liquid component. The apparatus also i ncludes a pump operably connected to the system mass input for providing a p ressure to the mass The apparatus further includes a thickening assembly ada pted to receive the mass therein, with the thickening assembly being configu red to selectively remove a percentage of the liquid component from the mass as the mass travels through the thickening assembly by controlling an amoun t of the liquid component that can be removed from the mass.</p> |
