<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein while a conventional method for dividing and storing information for biometrics authentication, and for reproducing the divided information in the case of authentication in order to prevent the information for biometrics authentication from being leaked to a third person is known, there is the possibility that the information for biometrics authentication information leaks to a third person at reproduction, and security is not sufficient. <P>SOLUTION: This biometrics authentication system is provided to divide and store information for biometrics authentication, and to divide information for biometrics authentication acquired from a user at authentication, and to collate the divided information with each other. Hence, it is not necessary to reproduce the divided information, and it is possible to improve the security of the information for biometrics authentication.
