PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored light emission device capable of simply changing color types of a lamp, fulfilling color additivity, eliminating an effect of painted colored film on a lamp property. SOLUTION: The colored light emission device has a discharge lamp part (2) irradiating ultraviolet rays from inside of a container (1), and a plurality of light emission bodies (3 to 5) arranged at an outer peripheral part of the container, excited by the ultraviolet rays emitted from the discharge lamp part and emitting colored light. The plurality of light emission bodies having a phosphor (13 to 15) emitting at least one kind of colored light, are detachable from the discharge lamp part. By the above, optional colors can be obtained by a combination of the light emission bodies, and the color of the light can be optionally changed only by changing the light emission body as an occasion demands.
