PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of heat treating a tape and manufacturing a tape with a curling tendency, that can improve the surface temperature following property of the tape wound on a hub and reduce the fluctuation in quality caused by the position to place the wound tape and the part of the wound tape. SOLUTION: This heat treating method of a tape has a step of increasing the temperature around the tape wound on a hub up to a predetermined temperature, and a step of heat treating the tape at a predetermined temperature for a certain period of time. In the temperature increasing step, the relative humidity is maintained 40% or less around the wound tape, and the temperature increasing speed is made 0.6°C/min or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
