<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an actual feeling of key click in a portable information device adapting a touch panel as a key input mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: When a detection result for a local position of touch operation in a touch position detection part 21C shows, for example, an area closer to a peripheral part of a corresponding pressure sensing reaction area 13A, a vibration pattern read-out part 21D reads a vibration pattern with small amplitude corresponding to the area from a vibration pattern storage area 25C and reports it to an oscillator driving part 26. When the detection result shows, for example, an area closer to the central part of the corresponding pressure sensing reaction area 13A, the vibration pattern read-out part 21D reads a vibration pattern with large amplitude corresponding to the area from the vibration pattern storage area 25C and reports it to the oscillator driving part 26.
