PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent speed change feeling in the case that a braking operation is canceled while a deceleration down shift control involving the braking operation. SOLUTION: In the case that a first speed change judgement on the 4th to 3rd shift and a second speed change judgement on the 3rd to 2nd shift are made based on a braking operation, an electronic control unit executes a program including a step (S100) to judge whether a brake is in an on-state or not, a step (S300) to judge whether a speed change judgement is different from an output speed change instruction or not when the brake ceases to be in the on-state (no in S100), and a step (S400) to cancel the second speed change judgement made in response to deceleration when the speed change judgement is different from the output speed change instruction (yes in S300).
