PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which can determine exactly that an user of a terminal is absent. SOLUTION: The communication terminal of this invention comprises a communication control portion 12 connected to other communication system, a display means to display a display content corresponding to a type of a signal received from other communication system, and a control section 16 which informs the other communication system that the user of this apparatus is absent, when the display content is changed on the basis of the type of the signal, and there is no operation is responce to the display content which is changed within a prescribed change time after the display content changes.
