<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle theft prevention device capable of easily recognizing information of the opposite vehicle in the case of a hit-and-run accident, a stolen vehicle accessory and action contents or the like when an illegal action is performed. <P>SOLUTION: When the vehicle theft prevention device is set in a security state, the vehicle theft prevention device determines whether an object is moved near the vehicle after acquiring and storing the IDs of vehicle exterior equipment, vehicle interior equipment, articles in the vehicle and vehicle peripheral objects, and newly acquires object IDs when an object is moved near the vehicle (steps 301 to 303). The vehicle theft prevention device determines whether the object of an additional ID is a dangerous object when the object ID is added and notifies a portable machine 2 of the ID information of the dangerous object after storing the ID information of the dangerous object in the case of a dangerous object (steps 304 to 307).
