PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a display method, and a display system capable of reducing the electric power consumption needed for a display processing in accordance with various display processing systems, and to provide a server and a program.

SOLUTION: When a display element 21 employs a display of a non-light emission system such as a liquid crystal display, a system controller 27 of a mobile terminal T converts the color of an object which is maximum in display area among the objects constituting the image of the map image data displayed on a screen of the display element 21 into white color to display the converted map image data in the display element 21.
