<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instantaneous response amplitude limiting amplifier which is capable of securing a dynamic range even in the case that noise is put on an input signal. <P>SOLUTION: A difference signal between an input signal and a delay signal resulting from delaying the input signal by one bit or less of data is amplified by differential amplification circuits 2A, 2B, and 2C, and outputs of differential amplification circuits 2A, 2B, and 2C are input to hysteresis comparison circuits 3A, 3B, and 3C respectively and are compared with a threshold. One of outputs of hysteresis comparison circuits 3A, 3B, and 3C is selected by a selection circuit 5. An amplitude detection circuit 4 outputs such a selection signal that an output amplified through a path having the lowest gain out of outputs representing the presence of signals, of hysteresis comparison circuits 3A, 3B, and 3C may be selected by the selection circuit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
