<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin film excellent in wavelength dispersibility, having sufficient retardation developability which enables reduction of a film thickness, and further having an extremely low hygroscopic property, and especially a resin film suitable to retardation films. <P>SOLUTION: In the resin film, retardation R (650) at a wavelength of 650 nm, retardation R (550) at a wavelength of 550 nm, and retardation R (450) at a wavelength of 450 nm satisfy formulas (A) and (B) and having water absorption of 1% or less. With respect to (A) and (B), ΔR=äR (650)(nm)/R (550)(nm)-650/550}<SP>2</SP>+äR (450)(nm)/R (550)(nm)-450/550}<SP>2</SP><0.0075 (A), ΔN=R (550)(nm)/thickness(nm)≥2.75×10<SP>-3</SP>(B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
