PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyaluronidase inhibitor containing poly-gamma-glutamic acid as an effective component; and to provide a composition of a cosmetic for maintaining skin elasticity and a composition for allergy improvement, both composition containing poly-gamma-glutamic acid as an effective component. SOLUTION: The composition containing poly-gamma-glutamic acid effectively inhibits the activity of hyaluronidase, i. e. an enzyme decomposing hyaluronic acid present in skin dermis, therefore is effective for maintaining skin moisturizing and skin elasticity and capable of relaxing allergic symptoms by increasing the permeability of inflammatory cells.
