PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current limiting circuit capable of suppressing the increase of a circuit area and mitigating limitation against power supply voltage reduction. SOLUTION: The current limiting circuit comprises: a voltage supply part 10; a detection current generation part 20 for generating the detection current Ib of a current value smaller than an output current Io by using the output current Io outputted from the voltage supply part 10 and the setting current Ia of a fixed value; and an adjustment part 30 for monitoring the detection current Ib and adjusting the output current Io by controlling the voltage supply part 10 when the output current Io reaches a limit value.
