PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the mitigation and elimination of constraints related to the position and attitude of a remote flashing device at a low cost, regarding an illuminating system for obtaining illuminating light required for multiple flash photographing with the cooperation of a master flashing device and a wireless flashing device. SOLUTION: The illuminating system comprises the master illuminating device which emits light, the remote illuminating device which includes a light receiving part, and which emits light in accordance with the reception of the light emitted from the master illuminating device through the light receiving part, and a member which can support at least one remote illuminating device, and which includes a light guide path for guiding the light emitted from the master illuminating device to the light receiving part or in a direction of the light receiving part in such the situation that the remote illuminating device is located in a position where the light from the master illuminating device is interrupted by a photographing lens or a camera from being made incident on the light receiving part.
