PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor motor which can be enhanced in electric motor efficiency, in which a tooth part obtained by dividing a stator core is constituted of a laminate core body formed by laminating a punched magnetic steel sheet while the remaining portion is constituted of a compressed magnetic core of magnetic powder. SOLUTION: In the capacitor motor, a stator core 2 is divided into a divided core body a4 having the same number as the number of slots and mainly forming the tooth portion and a divided core body b6 which becomes a magnetic channel on the outer peripheral sides of the divided core body a4 and the slot 1 and forms a non-divided and annual yoke portion or a plurality of divided yoke portions, and the divided core body a4 formed by laminating a punched magnetic steel sheet and the divided core body b6 obtained by forming the compressed powder magnetic core obtained by molding the magnetic powder in a predetermined shape, both are bonded or welded or simply mechanically assembled or integrated through combination of these methods.
