PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of improving the stopping precision of a moving element in performing control for moving the moving element to a target position by driving the motor. SOLUTION: This motor controller 22 controls the motor 20 of a disc reproducer 1 including a mechanism for moving the mover 12 to the target position by driving the motor 20. The motor controller includes a memory 23 for storing information relating to a driving time of the motor 20 for moving a stocker baseplate 12 measured by a potentiometer 15 to the target position; a motor driving time estimation device for estimating the motor 20 driving time for moving the stocker baseplate 12 to the target position, based on the data stored in the memory 23; and an updating device for updating the stored data stored in the memory 23 to the information, relating to the motor driving time estimation device. This enables the motor 20 to perform deceleration control for the motor 20 before an updated estimated time of the motor 20 has elapsed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
