PURPOSE: To provide a motor-driving system in a single spindle-driving type textile machine, capable of reducing a wiring man-hour and a wiring cost over plural spindles by reducing the number of transmitting lines for transmitting each command signal to each driver. CONSTITUTION: This motor-driving system in the single spindle-driving type textile machine has plural drivers 30 for individually controlling the driving motors 2 installed in each spindle, and a signal-setting tool 50 connected to the plural drivers 30 through a common command signal-transmitting line 40. The signal-setting tool 50 creates a revolution speed-directing signal in a frequency corresponding to the target revolution speed of each of the driving motors 2, and a parameter-directing signal for showing the parameter for setting a driving condition, and has means for transmitting each of the directive signals through the common command signal-transmitting line 40 to each of the drivers 30. Each of the drivers 30 can recognize the received revolution speed-directing signal and the parameter-directing signal by distinguishing them from each other, and controls each of the driving motors 2 based on the recognition.
