PURPOSE: System and method for detecting faulty with high speed are provided to directly process image data received through CCD(Change Coupled Device) camera with hardware without an image capture board and to detect faulty by reducing data. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting faulty with high speed comprises a first stage(S20) receiving image data through an image input module having a CCD camera; a second stage(S12) operating bi-directional gradient through bi-directional gradient mounted on a preprocess unit; a third stage(14) forming binary data; a forth stage(S16) deciding feedback of the data; a fifth stage(S18) storing the binary data into a FIFO(First Input First Output); a sixth stage(S20) transferring the binary date into a main processor through a digital I/O; and a seventh stage(S22) detecting a position of the faulty corresponding to the binary data. Thereby, the method for detecting the faulty with the high speed directly processes the image data received through the CCD camera with hardware without an image capture board to detect faulty by reducing data.
