A drive system for a vehicle comprising a motor and a secondary battery. The mountability of the drive system is increased by integrating the motor with the secondary battery. A laminated cylindrical secondary battery is disposed in a clearance between the cylindrical outer housing (116) and the rotor (112) of the motor (110) on the inside of the outer housing. A cylindrical cooling member (180) is further disposed between the rotor and the secondary battery.
