<p>A stable solid oral dosage form comprising valsartan and a process of forming the same. The stable solid oral dosage form comprises an active agent comprising an effective amount of valsartan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and pharmaceutically acceptable additives suitable for the preparation of solid oral dosage forms, wherein the active agent is present in an amount less than 35% by weight based on the total weight of the solid oral dosage form. The process comprises blending valsartan with the other excipients, dry compression, milling and screening to obtain granules, said granules being subsequently compressed into tablets and coated.</p>
