The cladding (5) has a variable area and is multi-part in its construction. It includes a central standard panel (5a), with further filling panels at the corners and edges (5b, 5c, 5d). These form a frame for the central panel and are of similar thickness. The filling panels are fixed to fastening limbs of the frame profile and or cover profile. The standard panel (5a) and the filling panels are butted together and/or are connected by e.g. an interlocking joint. The connection is a tongued-and-grooved joint, the grooves and tongues extending in the plane of the frame or cover.
